MP4 player solutions.

I pressed the menu off switch while browsing the pictures when the LCD screen stopped functioning. resetting the device did not work. when I charge the device, it displays red showing that it is charging, same when I connect to the computer. but it is not detected by the computer (win Xp). only the power on switch works and the only way to switch off is by pressing the reset button. I would appreciate if anyone provides a solution to this problem. thanks.
