I'm hoping this is the Arabist, Bud Steely. If so, I just moved back to the DC area and was wondering if you and Alice are still in Hot Springs? I am with a company that makes and sells fiberglass utility poles and I know that half of Arkansas is without power due to the ice storm. I just cannot find anyone in charge to offer our poles to. We're close, have the capacity in-house just now, and can provide stronger, longer-lasting poles. Also, I noticed the other day that one of my old (indirectly) employers opened a spun-concrete pole plant near Nizwa. I've wanted to go back to Oman ever since I was last there. I'm not sure who to contact there to see if they're receptive to our products. Any ideas? I tried to email you with an email address I had gotten a few years back from Bill Fleury, but the email got bounced back.
