I have a tv model lt37xm48 that every so often the screen goes black you can still hear the sound but no picture, You can turn it off and back on and it works fine. The first time it occured it only happened a couple times and then it was fine now it did it again several times in a row, wondering if it is an overheat problem or something else in the tv. Any assistance would be great thank you.

Yes, mine is doing the same thing, it is definitely an overheating issue. Has anyone figured out a workaround. I am about ready to start mounting computer fans on the back.
I guess JVC figures I would be stupid enough to buy another one of their products after this.

Having the same problem with my LT37XM48 purchased less than 1 month ago. After a couple/few hours, the picture will just go black while sound continues. Power off/on will restore the picture.. sometimes for just a few minutes, sometimes for several more hours. Based on a quick internet search, this does not seem to be an isolated problem as several others are seeing (or NOT seeing!) the exact same problem.
