Tape (New/Old) gets jamed inside the Camcorder

When I start Play/Record, Tape gets jam inside the catredge unit. it play/record for 10 seconds and imtly tape get jam and getting error on LCD. I have tried to clean the head using Sony Cleaning Tape. But no use. I bought this 5 years back . may be the Pinch Roller lost its life. or what could be the problem..Do you have the pinch roller with you ?
