Recording is redish blurred, others describe it as CCD issue Sony replaces the chip for free on similar cameras, but not this (not enough people having the same problem with this camera :( you figure Sony!)

I am between dumping this camera for a new one due to the high cost of repairing it. Any ideas how to get this issue fixed? Thank you. Sylvia
