use the menu button on t.v pressing till u see the closed caption box so that means u press the menu button again and again take your time don't go fast or u will pass it scroll to close caption use the volume buttons to operate the first one u see is mode use the vol.button and put it on off then use the channels button to go down to caption use vol button choose c c 1 then go down to text channel button press t 1 if u want the cc on your t.v put the mode button on
