HomeHow to get rid of a Black Box that shows when the TV is on making it hide the full view on the screen. The tv was given to me without a manual and remote control so we have no idea how to program it without the remote or manual. Can someone help us to get it right. Thanks

The black box you refer to is "closed caption" associated with text, unfortunately it requires the TV's "original" remote control (not a replacemement type) to remove this. |
