Need suggestions on the most likely cause of a mostly green screen from all input sources.

We bought our TV 13 months ago and now, 2 weeks ago, the screen has become mostly green no matter what source we're using - DVD player, VHS player, over the air antenna, XBox. If I can, I'll repair it myself but this is our first high-definition TV. I'm guessing light engine but would appreciate an experienced opinion. If it is the engine, where could I buy one and about how much would it run? Is it even something that someone who is mechanically inclined could do themselves? Thanks!
