Homelens cap message.. i need help!! i also have the lens cap message on my jvc mini dv. i thought i had the same problem a few years back and dont remember how i corrected it or maybe it fixed itself but now it is appearing again and for the life of me i can not figure it out. i havent used the camera much in recent months but now that i need it this is very frustrating. any info would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot fix it yourself unless you replace the defective image sensor, however as you haven't mentioned the model number of what you are referring to further and more detailed info cannot be supplied. |
