Camera gives "lens cap on" message when it isn't

Can you help me fix my camera that is giving the "lens cap on" message when it is not on.

    Full info on this sent via DIRECT e-mail, this explaining the cause of the problem and the procedure used to obtain the "qualified" free repair, including info appertaining to the location AA models are used in.
