No sound from unit

I have a JVC CA-HXZ30 that i purchased a while ago and the outputs just went out on me. I was using it last night during a party and the sound just cut off on me. I plugged the speakers into another unit in the house and they worked fine. I also tried plugging in different speakers into the unit but the result was no sound. It smelled like something was cooking last night when i shut it off. Just took the cover off and i cant really see anything that's fried or crispy. The fuse is ok and the unit functions perfectly fine; there is just no sound. Thank you for your time
