Problem using my new Sony DSC-W110 digital camera

I bought sony DSC-W110 camera on 3rd. January 2009. Today, I got this error C:13:01 while shooting picture. On screen it also put this message - Error formatting Memory Stick. I got this error while shooting pictures, not while formatting the memory stick. So now all th epictures that I've taken cannot view and I also cannot take new pictures. What was the cause of this error. Can some one help me? Thanks
