My screen is flashing Error "E06" "Unit in safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery" I have done as requested and unit is still doing the same thing Model # GR-D90U Serial# 148V2816 I purchased the Camera several years ago, used it for about a total of 10 hours when the error popped up. At the time I took it to an authorised repair person who told me it would be $150 min for him to look at the camera. At that point I was quite pissed and put the camera back in the box and up in my closet. Gettijng out holiday decorations I saw the box and thought i'd try again. powered it up, charged the battery and the error is still here. The unit will load and eject tapes but will not play. can you help? I am a technical person by trade but am hesitant to open it up but at this point I figure I have nothing to loose Bryan
