red on light flashes Only

red on light flashes no clicking, no sound, no picture. was fine when I shut it off. Tried unpluging no different. Understand it may be the convergent IC's and maybe some resistors. If this sounds correct then Where are the IC's located? Thanks to all who help Merry Christmas
