Don't call Sony for repair

I just tried the smack down method on a book with the battery removed, put it back on and the camera functions flawlessly. Maybe something just gets stuck when camera is stored for long periods? Anyway don't be afraid to give it a couple of firm smacks (bottom of the camera to the face of the book) on your favorite hard cover book! Thanks to all for saving us some money for repairs that aren't needed.
