can i use the videocam in colder places?

greetings, we will be going to hong kong for the holidays and i'll be bringing with me my videocams. we were told to expect cold temp of 16 degrees or lower. we will be leaving the philippines with a temp of 19 degrees. sir, what will i do to prevent moisture in my videocams and can i use my videocams in colder places with or without snow? what should i do first to prevent damaging my units? thankyou steve
