Looking for second hand or compatible unit.

I have a faulty CD player component of a small (c1990) Sony Hi-Fi system. The Sony repair center have said that it will cost >500gbp to repair! Does anybody have a second hand unit or know of a compatible unit. The CD player has the model number of CDP H3600 and the amp unit is TA H2600. Any help, much appreciated, David
