I get trails when I use the "Nightalive" feature

I shoot video of "Dog Agility which means the dogs run quickly over obstacles. When I switch to Manual Mode the subjects blur out of focus. I need to use the feature but do not know how to adjust the camera correctly to eliminate the problem. What F-Stop and Shutter Speed should I be using?
