JVC GR-60 Recording Problems

Adam Posted Dec 09, 2008

JVC GR-60

I have an old school JVC GR-60 video recorder. When recording their are lines that go through it. Can someone tell me why this would be happening and if this can be corrected? Thank you.

If you are actually referring to the "D" 60 then thats a symptom of the dreaded lens cap problem and which the GR-D60 model can suffer from. There is a free repair offer on that model but only if a person can show proof of original purchase, which in your case I very much doubt, however in the UK the CCD modules are not expensive but does require a person acquaint at working on precision electro-mechanical devices to fit the part, as it involves precision soldering etc.
