What NOW? The Panasonic receiver dies after a year, and I'm stuck w/ 5 spkrs, a sub and wireless rear speaker system!!

What do I replace the receiver/dvd changer with, on a budget? I bought the wireless package separate, and it only works with a Panasonic, of course!! Any ideas? How much is it to get the sa ht940 repaired? More fans for cooling this hot - running amp?
