Sony KV-40xbr800 does not turn on, having 6 standby lights flashing

I have Sony KV-40xbr800 for 5 years. As soon as I bought it in about two weeks TV wouldn't turn on. Because it was under warranty Sony tech came over remove something from inside and replace it with the same part in few days. It turn out to be power supply bad. (New TV). We paid for it $3500 in Dec. 2003. My extended warranty has ended two years ago. Now I have the same thing like I had five years ago. I was Sony fun and I have everything from Sony. Now I guess I have to move one to some other manufacture for future purchases. At this point we have got stuck with this expensive TV. I keep reading online that a lot of people have the same problem with this model. I'm not sure how many this model TV has been sold in US so far, but I can see clearly that class suite will be on the way sooner then later. This is unacceptable for me to spend so much money and suffering.
