The playback (the vcr-charge-camera button switched to the vcr) function just doesn't play the pre-recorded videos! That's not a problem with the mechanism, but rather a problem in digital information transmission I suppose.

Hi, My DCR-TRV250E Digital 8 Handycam has run into a problem recently: Well it has been working perfectly as fas as its mechanism is concerned, ejecting, inserting casette, fast forwardin, playin, recording etc. every movement without a flaw for 5 years. But recently, when I tried to watch a pre-recorded video casette, it simply failed to display it on its LCD screen. The mechanism works correctly (as I knew its correct sound for years) but it only cannot bring the digital information like the counter, recording date and the video-playback itself on the screen... There's no error code available on the screen. I don't know what to do. What should I try first? Thank you.
