Hi, my JVC cd/radio model KD-550 in my car isnt playing c.d.s It accepts it into the feeder/deck, reads PLAY followed by TRACK 1 on the screen, then reads EJECT and proceeds to eject the c.d. back out everytime. It worked for about a week after I bought my 1997 Chevy Malibu last year and when it started ejecting the disc I went back to the dealer. He took it out, put it back in, pressed some buttons, and Bam it worked again but the next day it was broken again. I just stopped by the auto parts store and removed the top plate with the screen to look at the computer parts inside and the man working there said it didnt seem as if any parts had burned out. So, I was wondering if theres something wrong with my JVC KD-550 model or something wrong with the c.d. deck inside the Chevy Malibu? And is the inside deck JVC product or installed by Chevy?
