Sony Cybershot error "Turn the power off then on again"

I was using my Cybershot and it was working fine. I turned it off and then turned it back on 5 minutes later and now it says Access,,,,then it says Turn power off then on again...then it beeps non-stop until i turn it off... Very frustrating. Thanks if you can help...J Sims
