Hi Stacy, I saw your message on Pechorin's Forum and am having a problem. My UVW1800 is getting error code 02-403. I assume this is a tape spooling error of some sort or maybe not. It happened when I pushed FF to search. Then it froze and gave me the error code. I turned the deck off and back on, pushed eject and waited for about 30 seconds and it made a weird low noise when trying to spool the tape back in the case and finally spit the tape out.
