f61 problem

Colby Posted Oct 15, 2008

I tried this and it worked

I have a panasonic Sa-ak220 stereo and I came across the error code F61 several times and I've learned all you have to do is make sure u have all your speaker cables, aux cables, antenna, ect. Hooked up before turnin on your stereo.hope it works for everyone else it has for me every time!

Re troyticus reply - although I do not have personal experience of the model mentioned, it should be said that the loudspeaker auto protection circuits on some models of equipment will trigger if no load is detected upon switch on, this is to protect the output IC's from surges. Its of course only the loudspeaker connections that this applies to, as it doesnt matter whether anything else is coupled or not!

yea i got the same sound system and ive just come accross the error today and i dont see how that could work as it should turn on even if theres nothing plugged into it eg no speakers connected, no antena
