Re: To attach my JVC GRSXM470A camcorder to computer

Dr. A.K. Kulshrestha Posted Oct 03, 2008, in response to:Dr. A.K. Kulshrestha

Thanks for the suggestion. Please let me know the cheapest DVD maker for this purpose available in the market as SONY DVD maker is very costly for this purpose. I would like to also tell you that in market, JXD MP4 player is available(China made) which has the port of A/V in as well as out.But as my JVC Camera is having mono output for audio, the video recording is good through this JXD device but the audio quality is very poor.Kindly suggest me whether is there any software which can edit the music on the video background.

Not knowing exactly where you are located makes it impossible to suggest a source of supply for a bottom end DVD recorder, but web sites such as Amazon are good for these sorts of items. The main criteria is to look for suppliers of domestic entertainment equipment / DVD recorders, and choose a low cost "but known" brand with the minimum of sophistication, as all you require is a DVD-R/RW device with standard A/V input sockets. (Funai makes excellent low cost units) As your camcorder records in analogue mono you will never really get the crispest of audio, but depending on what you finally play it on the quality can be very acceptable to the most critical of ears! I dont get involved with MP devices so I cant offer advice there, but as far as video editing / titling etc is concerned Nero is excellent, and capable of giving the most professional of results.
