Tape path head switching positions, and tracking needs adjustment. 4. Unit needs cleaning and lubrication.)

(In November 2006, the Manhattan repair firm Technisphere assessed the estimated repair cost at $2,207.27 for the following fixes: 1. Tested and found intermittent motor boating sound from audio channel. 2. Found threading time out failure (Deck needs overhaul). 3. Upper drum has over 5000 hours and is at the end of it's life. 4. AP 31 board needs replacement and alignment.)
