if you have windows xp professional sp2 . connect the handy cam with usb cord and use the windows movie maker. now if your windows xp is not able to detect the handy cam go to the sony site and download the usb drivers hardly 3-4 mb. if u are unable to get the jusb drivers call up the sony toll freee with respect to the usb drivers once u get the drivers fixed . windows movie maker will detect the handy cam .
