HomeCan anyone out there help a damsel in distress? Sound is perfect - on switching on TV, get a crystal clear picture for a split second, and then the screen goes black / blank. The sound, however is perfect. I have unplugged everything and allowed the Tv to have a "rest", four times, but no luck with the picture. The TV is approx 3 years old.

Unfortunately there is nothing external that you can do about this problem, as it requires an internal inspection to determine exactly what requires replacement. I would get an estimate of the approximate cost involved from whatever service facility you might try before giving the OK, as this may vary quite considerably from place to place. |
