Homequestion: What is the correct guage wiring for the nutone 3303 system? My house is pre-wired for an intercom system (with four stranded wires to each location), though I question whether the wire is of the correct guage. The wire is a pretty heavy guage. Can you tell me what guage wire the factory recommends/supplies with the system and if a heavier stranded wire will be OK to use. Thanks

An individual 3-wire cable (IWA-3) must be connected from each remote speaker or remote control to the master unit’s terminal board. Nutone recommends their own IWA-3 wiring, which is a Flat Ribbon Type 3-wire, 22 GA. cable. |
