need part and service badly...

Actually i have consulted and brought my cam to the canon service center at makati, philippines. And i'm really shocked of their diagnosis! The agent there just turn on, then flipped my cam up and down and told me that the lens needs replacement and the cost is Php10,3++ for parts and service! They even suggested that i buy a new cam instead! He even offered me his (same model as mine) for 10k brand new! I'm just shocked... anyway, anyone who can suggest for a better center with cheaper service and knowledgeable staff? Need a little help please? ☺
