Each time I insert a floppy into my Mavica FD90, I get a "WRITE PROTECT" message. Reformat?

I've read that I should reprogram my Sony Mavica FD. Anyone know HOW? I've used it for eBay for eight or nine years without a problem. Now, no matter what diskettes I insert, I get a WRITE PROTECT message. Called a local camera shop and was told that Sony puts a reset button/switch on all digitals and that it's often hard to find. Guess so, I can't find it. Any suggestions? I've had this camera since it was introduced and unlike many, don't think I've ever dropped it. Not getting the usual error, just that my floppies are 'WRITE PROTECTED' and they aren't. Comments appreciated!!!! Cate in Indy
