Focus lock switch

I believe that I need the switch that controls the focus locking mechanism on my Sony DSC H2. I don't know squat about cameras so if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. The camera works fine it just doesn't double beep when you push the shutter release button. Someone told me that it was the focus lock. That is the extent of my knowledge and expertise. As you can easily see, I am digitally challenged.
