Folks --
I had my TRV-30 running for few days straight (I am dumping 30+ cassettes on to the computer). After about 28 cassettes, I got this C:31:23 message. Initially I thought I have over-burnt my camcorder in this use mode. And was fearing the sudden expense of having to buy new camcorder.
But of course I had to google the error code. I found this forum and "NUMEROUS" instances of how banging the camera helped people around the world. Unfortunately, in my case, the empirically established solution did not work. I have tried:
(a) banging the camera in off mode, in VCR mode, in camera mode
(b) banging it upside down, sideways
Since I did not find ANY posting indicating that this method did not work, I thought I ought to let people know that this method does not always work. I would truly appreciate if someone has some other suggestions.
Thanks,
-rajeev
