Reset CD changer using pin hole, R-1, R-2, R-3, R-8 error codes, forcibly eject tray, clean lens

I was getting R-2 error code on my JVC CD changer, I opened the changer and forced the stocked CD out ( becarful my finger bled doing that) and then I reseted the Chnager by inserting a tiny pin to pin hole which is on changer, it started reading but the I got R-3 then I purchases LENS CLEANER ( a CD with brushes on it) and Changer works perfect now. About R-1 I heard you have to forcibly eject the tray either by pin hole or hold ATT and Eject botton together and then press ENT. ( see your user manual) it tells u how to forcibly eject the tray. I heard for resetting u can disconnet the power from CD ( take the plug off) for 5 minutes. I read somewhere for R-2 to R-7 error code resetting usually solve the problem and for R-8 check wiring perhaps wires coming out of changer are loose.Hope this help.
