My DVD player XV-N652S has given me the same problem, i.e., no video output seen, twice in the last 1 month. It is under warranty period, but the original proof of purchase is misplaced, hence, warranty cover was not provided for the first time and service charges levied. The player is giving the same problem again within a month's time of service. Will i be charged again for this? Can't I get the warranty cover if my warranty card is with me in the absence of the original proof of purchase?
