Has anyone had such expreience, please help. A services manual of the KV32XBR100 would help too . Thanks so much

I bought it new 1997, worked perfectly until last week when turn on, horiz. stripes appeared all over pictures on entire screen, both vertical side edges are jagged (not straight lines any more). Sound & channel switching, etc..are still fine. This TV consists of a monitor connected to a control box. I disconnected the control box from monitor, then connected the monitor to a DVD player to S-video and audio on back of monitor: same horiz. stripes appeared again. So problem is with the monitor unit!
