D73 models are included in a large range of "D" models than can develop the lens cap problem, however as you have restricted your e-mail address I am unable to send full info, this also containing direct links to the appropriate repair area, however if you go onto JVC's website for where ever you are located you may be able to get some info from there. It should be pointed out that the free repair offer expired at the end of June, but as this has twice been extended it may happen again! You should be aware that you must be the original purchaser, and have proof of this to obtain the free repair.
