HomeJVC gr-sxm38u Error code E00 A neighbor of mine purchased this camera from a pawn shop. On the first use, it recorded for several minutes and then the tape stopped advancing. The tape was removed and now when you attempt to record, the camera makes a slight squealing sound and then displays an error code(e00) in safeguard mode. Please let me know if anyone can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance.

Are you positive that its 00 that is displayed? however have you tried using another cassette? as thats the first thing that should be done, should of course you have already tried this and it made no difference then I am afraid its a case dismantling job for further investigation. |
