HomeWhen it turns on it says unit in safegaurd mode and remove and reattch battery. I purchased my JVC video camera around chritmas 8 months ago. But About 2 months ago my video camera started to not work. I lost my manual so i don't know what to do? Whenever I turn it on to record it won't turn on unless i turn it to memory, then it turns on so i flip it back to video. Bbut on memory and video it says remove and reattach battery or DC plug and unit in safegaurd mode. And i've tried removing and reattching my battery and it still doesn't work, what do I doI can't take videos or pics or even wwatch my old videos???

Well its not easy to advise when you haven't mentioned what the model number is of the device causing the problem, however as there are many things that can cause this its a case of whether or not you see any error code numbers mentioned? as this can give a pointer as to where the problem is. If by any chance its a "D" model followed by three numerals these are notorious for this happening, with unfortunately no fixed single reason responsible which means a more time consuming diagnostic task. |
