File errors

Hi, I've got a problem with my DSC-W200. I got it for my birthday in May. I have a 4 GB memory card and it should hold 800 pictures approx. However, when I take about 30 ish then a lot of the pictures begin to "file error". Interestingly it didn't do this the first time I uploaded pictures onto my computer, but ever since then it has. Reading previous messages on this website I see that other people have the same problem: the pictures are replaced with a blue screen and "file error". Does anyone know how I can fix this myself, or do I have to get it fixed professionally? I'm also unsure whether it's to do with the camera or the memory card. Any ideas? Help please!
