For repairs

My JVC LCD flat TV 26x575 is not coming on the blue light is on but the screen is not show any thing I took it to repair and the repiar man said I need to buy a power board Im also living in Trinidad & Tobago I bought the TV while on vacation Can you tell me where or what I should do because in my country the manufacturers refuse to interfer with the TV for repairs I look forward for your answer.
