Zoom won't work.Settings can't be done.The camera turns on,and that is the only thing it does.

The Kodak DX4530 turns on,but it won't set the date,time,and the zoom doesn't work.Green light comes on,and the screen comes on for the settings to be done.Nothing works.Why?
