It depends on if you are meaning that you do not know how to connect the VCR, or its a case you have it connected but there is no video or audio, however the VCR tape machine should be connected to the TV using a lead with 3 RCA plugs on each end, these connected to the TV's No 1,2 or 3 inputs, and of course selecting the input used on the remote control.
