Hey i have this blinking sony tv problem as well, and this looks like an interesting way to (atleast temporarily) fix the problem. However, it has been stated that this sginificantly shortens the lifetime of the tv... is this true? For the people who have done this and fixed their tvs, how long did it/is it lasting you?
