Having problems using it as a webcam.

I'm having a problem with my jvc gr d72u. I haven't been able to use it as a webcam. I can use it with ImageMixer. But I cannot use it with Windows Movie Maker, it says that another application is using it. And when I try to use it with Skype, it says it can't access it, close down all applications using it. Can anyone help me? Thanks
