Re: JVC TV ERROR - usb overcurrent

Dwin Constable Posted May 07, 2008, in response to:Joe Ostrander

In June, 06 we bought a JVC TV Model #AV32F577. About 10 months ago we received a message on the screen, "USB Over Current Error. Please push OK button after you remove USB Devise". We have continued to get this message dozens and dozens times a day. We have nothing connected to our set but our satellite receiver. Today I took on the task of making some call.....to HH Gregg (Buford, GA) where we purchased the TV......all the way up to JVC support in Wayne, NJ. (1-800-526-5308; Michael) Michael suggested disconnecting all DVDs, etc. which we had already done. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

If you have nothing connected to your TV except a satellite receiver does this ever happen when its disconnected? What sockets on the TV do you use to connect the satellite receiver? I ask as I strongly suspect that the message is coming from the satellite receiver and not originating from within the TV.
