While watching the JVC tv it turns off by itself. It won't turn back on by remote or manually. At some point it might come back on, but when is anyone's guess. I read about the Tom P. fix, but I am far from technically savvy.

I've got an old JVC tv. The same things occurring in other JVC TV's have happened to us. I thought what have I got to lose. Well other than my sanity, I'm only out the cost of the capacitor and soldering kit. I went to Radio Shack and bought a soldering kit and the 1000 uf 35v capacitor, but I can't find the c926. I found the c924 and the c925 and one would think the c926 would be next to those. Can anyone out there tell me where to find it and whether it possibly goes by anotehr name. I found some capacitors that look to be the same size as the 1000 uf 35v, but I'd hoped not to change them all out.
