The problem you are experiencing seems to be quite a common one, with two possible reasons being that (1) the burning speed onto the DVD disc is too fast, 4x should be selected and not what the automatic selection gives, and (2) try burning onto DVD-R or -RW discs. Of course all being said on the assumption that what the video is getting transferred onto has sufficient space to accommodate it. It has also been reported that people using Vista can experience problems of this type, however no guaranteed permanent solution has been found to this.
